Occupational therapy is dedicated to and focused on helping all types of children improve participation in their “occupations” or roles as a child. Special focus is provided to increasing self regulation abilities, social participation, and enhancing self esteem and resiliency.

OT engages participants in exercises, activities, strategies, and interventions that support development of skills that encourage independence and integration.
